In 2008, I was a juror for a child sexual abuse trial in Montgomery County. The primary and most convincing information we heard was the medical evidence and forensic interview done by Children’s Safe Harbor, an organization I hadn’t heard of before then. This evidence played a key role in us reaching a verdict, especially since the victim had changed her story before the trial of who had assaulted her. I was so impressed with Children’s Safe Harbor and the services they provide to both victims and law enforcement that I have been donating $500 every year. Keep up the good work.
