Over $15K raised to benefit abused kids at Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s breakfast fundraiser for Children’s Safe Harbor

The Woodlands, TX (July 8, 2026) More than $15,000 was raised to benefit abused kids as Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable hosted a breakfast fundraiser at Truluck’s The Woodlands on June 10, 2026, to benefit Children’s Safe Harbor.

With a sold-out crowd, 150 guests enjoyed a breakfast buffet generously underwritten by Truluck’s – The Woodlands in support of the nonprofit children’s advocacy center. This was the tenth year Constable Gable hosted the fundraiser.

Highlighting the morning’s event was a testimonial speech by Emily Springer, a child abuse survivor who received services and support from Children’s Safe Harbor. The event marked the first time she had publicly shared her story about her path toward justice, healing, and hope. Springer has recently joined the staff of Children’s Safe Harbor as a Client Relations Specialist, having previously served a college internship there.

In addition to Constable Ryan Gable, elected officials in attendance included Judge Wayne Mack, District Attorney Mike Holley, and Conroe Police Chief Jon Buckholtz. Also in attendance were members of law enforcement, child protective services, the DA’s office, and Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), along with community leaders and board members and staff from Children’s Safe Harbor.

Children’s Safe Harbor’s mission is to achieve justice, healing, and hope for every child victim of severe physical abuse, sexual assault, child sex trafficking, neglect, and trauma, and to engage the community in that mission. As a nationally accredited, nonprofit children’s advocacy organization, Children’s Safe Harbor is part of a nationwide effort to heal the trauma and facilitate justice for abused children. The center serves children ages 0 to 17 through case review, medical exams, and family advocacy. In 2025, 2,444 forensic interviews were conducted.
