At Children’s Safe Harbor, community outreach and education are essential to preventing abuse, supporting survivors, and connecting families to critical resources. As a nationally accredited Children’s Advocacy Center serving Montgomery County and surrounding communities, we are committed to building safer environments where children can heal and thrive.
We proudly partner with schools, nonprofits, businesses, faith communities, and civic leaders to expand awareness and strengthen our collective impact and we invite you to get involved.
Outreach & Education
Our Outreach team provides free, trauma-informed presentations tailored to a variety of audiences, including:
- Schools and youth-serving organizations
- Faith-based organizations
- Civic and neighborhood groups
- Businesses and professional associations
Presentation topics may include:
- Child abuse prevention and early warning signs
- Online safety and digital risk awareness
- Mandated reporting requirements
- The Children’s Advocacy Center model and multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach
- How Children’s Safe Harbor supports child victims and non-offending caregivers
Each presentation is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and actionable tools to protect children and strengthen families.
